After defeating the Sri Lankan team in the first match, India is looking forward to continue the winning spree against Bangladesh as well today. While India will try to recover from horror of the Australia tour, Sachin Tendulkar will try his level best to get his 100 complete this time in the Asia Cup 4th ODI against Bangladesh.
While this match will serve as the do or die situation for Bangladesh as it will decide whether they will stay in the tournament or not, defeat will force the team out from the contest along with the Sri Lankan Team.
India’s batsmen that were in the hope to be successful in this tournament, found real comfort in sub continental environments and made for the bowlers to showcase their talent despite the leaking runs on the unhelpful pitch.
As far as the bowling side is concerned, the growing talent and confidence of Irfan Pathan is massive and great for the Indian side. He grabbed 4 wickets against the Sri Lankans. But as the express speed is missing from attack, bowlers will need to rely on the willow wielding counterparts in order to bat the opposite team out from the tournament.
As they are the overwhelming favorites, Indian team cannot just afford being complacent provided the past record of Bangladesh being the giant killers.
