KKR’s Kamlesh Nagarkoti Out Of The Rest IPL Season Due To Foot Injury

Kamlesh Nagarkoti, one of the budding players from the U19 team, is going to miss out this IPL due to a foot injury. He is another pacer from the KKR to miss out IPL due to injury woes. This 18-year old pacer was bought by the franchise for a whopping sum of Rs.3.20 crores. Karnataka pacer Prasidh Krishna is expected to replace this promising pacer.Kamlesh_NagarkotiEarlier, Prasidh was expected to replace Vinay Kumar from KKR who did not do well in the previous games. This 22-year old player took part in one first-class match and picked 6 wickets, 3wickets, and 4 wickets from 3 T20s he played for India team-A.

As Kamlesh Nagarkoti was prone to an injury before the commencement of the tournament, Krishna was expected to feature the first IPL game of KKR but Vinay Kumar grabbed that opportunity. He participated in two practice matches as well.

Due to the injury of Starc, the team was in quest of a good pace bowler but by injury to Kamlesh led KKR to a condition between the devil and the deep sea. Mitchell Starc was ruled out of the tournament even before the beginning of IPL 2018 due to an injury. But the team was happy with the return of Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine. But the chaotic situations are facing the team regularly due to injuries to costliest players.

Another issue facing the team is the inconsistency of one of the elegant Indian pacers, Vinay Kumar. So, pacers like Tom Curran, Mitchell Johnson, and Shivam Mavi are expected to make a mark to make up the lack of strong pacers in the team.
