IPL 2018 Match 15 Preview-Rajasthan Royals Vs Kolkata Knight Riders

The Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders seem confident with previous victories. They will play the 15th game of IPL at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore on their home ground and Kolkata Knight Riders slammed Delhi DareDevils by 71 runs. This is the first game in five years at Jaipur.  If Kolkata Knight Riders can beat RR in this game, they can beat SRH in the points table who are at the top when the net run rate is taken into account.IPL 2018 Match 15 Preview-Rajasthan Royals Vs Kolkata Knight RidersMatch Begins In:

If Rajasthan Royals win the game, they will reach the second position in the points table.

If Rajasthan Royals bat first, the predicted score will be above 180 runs. The openers Rahane and D’Arcy Short are in a good form and it was proven in the game against RCB. Rahane scored 36 off 20 deliveries in the previous game. Sanju Samson is another fiery batsman who made 92 runs off 45 balls and the players like Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler who made some knocks cannot be underrated. Though the KKR has a solid bowling attack with Sunil Narine and Kuldeep Yadav, the Rajasthan Royals come up a fiery batting department which can be damaging if settled once.

If Kolkata Knight Riders come to bat first, their predicted score will be above 190 runs. They have terrific openers like Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine but they cannot assure long innings. Sunil Narine did not make a big cameo after his 16-ball fifty.  Chris Lynn tried to make a good stand in the previous games so far but could not make a big knock till now. Coming to the middle order, Dinesh Kartik and Nitish Rana are exceptional.

Andre Russell and Robin Uthappa are damaging than expected. Uthappa should shoulder the task of keeping on the flow of runs, which he failed to do in the game against Delhi DareDevils. Andre Russell is known as the good match finisher indeed by his knock against Delhi DareDevils. On the other hand, they have to face a terrific attack from pacer Jayadaev Unadkat and other bowlers like Shreyas Gopal and Dhawal Kulkarni.

Though both the teams seem balanced, Rajasthan Royals lack strong bowling attack and this will be their Achille’s heel. Coming to the predictions, KKR will have the advantage of more strong bowlers and they hold a good victory record against Rajasthan Royals in the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The KKR won the last game with Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur five years ago.
