Royal Challengers Bangalore seemed one of the strongest bowling sides but they could not prove it till now. They are in craving for victory to make their way to playoffs. They registered a single victory off four games till now, and Delhi DareDevils were in the same situation.
Match Begins In:
Though they have strong batting sides, the bowling woes were letting both of the teams down. Both the teams will play the 19th game at Chinna Swamy stadium, Bangalore at 8 pm.
If Royal Challengers Bangalore bats first, the predicted score will be above 170 runs. The openers Brendon Mc Cullum and De Kock may have to face Shami and Trent Boult during the Powerplays. In the previous game, Kohli won the orange cap but did not get a good stand from his teammates. He is expecting more from his men like De Villiers and De Kock. Delhi DareDevils may send Shabaz Nadeem instead of Gurkeerat Singh along with the bowlers like Shami and Boult. Jayant Yadav may be included in the team as well. Over-dependance on the top order is the biggest flaw for the Bangalore team.
If Delhi DareDevils bats first, the predicted score will be above 160 runs. Though Gautam Gambhir is trying to better the position of the side, he is known to strike well only when the team is in critical condition. The spectators are expecting him to stay on the crease for some more time. The batting line-up of the Delhi DareDevils seems stronger as well, with the likes of Glenn Maxwell, Jason Roy, and Rishabh Pant. But the dangling middle-order seems the Achille’s heel for the team. The team lacks good spin attack on the other hand. Chinnaswamy stadium is known as the hell for the spinners. So, this may not impact the Delhi DareDevils at a remarkable level.
Coming to the RCB bowling, Yuzwendra Chahal did not do up to the expectations but Chris Woakes and Umesh Yadav were doing well for the side. There are chances of replacing Sarfaraz Khan with Murugan Ashwin.
RCB won 11 IPL matches out of 12 games against the Delhi DareDevils. But at Chinnaswamy stadium, the win-loss ratio is 3-3. Despite poor confidence levels and bad historic background, the Royal Challengers are sweating hard to register one more win on their home ground.
