England surpassed India to top the ICC ODI rankings by one point. India fell to second place in the rankings. The English leapfrogged men in blue after the annual update of ICC rankings. England was at the top of the points table in 2013.They topped the rankings in 2013 by gaining 8 points and then by 2015 they gained 125 points. They were dropped from the top position in 2015-16, and 2016-17. Their performances since a couple of years were weighted up to 50 percent to top the rankings again.
India slipped to second place by losing one point. They were at the second place with 122 points. The South Africans attained third place by losing 8 points and the New Zealanders stood in fourth place of the ICC ODI rankings. The top 10 teams will play the world cup 2019.
The Australians moved to the fifth position and Pakistan stood in the sixth place by winning ICC champions trophy 2017. Bangladesh gained three points, they have 93 points at present and Sri Lanka lost 7 points and stood with 77 points in total.
Afghanistan gained five points and has 63 points and Zimbabwe gained four points and attained 55 points. Ireland slipped to the 12th position with 38 points and lost 3 points.
Australia and Pakistan were at the top two positions in T20I rankings and gained 130 and 126 points respectively. India gained two points to score 123 points. New Zealand stood in constant position with 116 points and England gained one point to score 115 points.
