They touched the edges of the victory in the death overs in the previous three nail-biting games against Kings XI Punjab, Mumbai Indians, and Rajasthan Royals by defending 118 runs, 132 runs, and 151 runs respectively. They made a splendid show when it comes to the bowling department even in the absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Even without their former Skipper Warner, they managed to attain a good place in the points table under the efficient leadership of New Zealand player Kane Williamson. He scored four half-centuries and scored 322 runs from eight games by batting at No.3.

Alex Hales is also doing up to the mark. The asset for the team is its bowling department that includes Basil Thampi, Sandeep Sharma, and Siddharth Kaul. Siddharth Kaul took 11 wickets off 8 games and Sandeep Sharma bowled with a miserly economy rate of 4.40.

Coming to the Delhi DareDevils, they are trying to bounce back and won three of nine games this season. Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw, and Rishabh Pant are the batting spearheads for the team and Trent Boult and Amit Mishra are doing well as bowlers. Shreyas Iyer scored 300 runs off 9 games and Prithvi Shaw played the electrifying innings against Rajasthan Royals by slamming 47 runs off 25 balls. Trent Boult holds the purple cap by picking 13 wickets off 9 games.

Out of 10 encounters, SRH won 6 games and DD won 4 games. Kane Williamson scored 27.43% of the team’s score and he follows Chris Gayle in this context. In the presence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the team bagged 23 wickets off 4 games and in his absence the team picked 34 wickets off 4 games. Rashid Khan never picked a wicket off DD since the beginning of this season.
