The Sunrisers Hyderabad kept up their top position in the points table by the nerve-taking victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Hyderabad yesterday. They scored 146 off 20 overs in their first innings by efficient bowling and fielding of the visitors. But the collective teamwork during the death overs, they managed to register another win.Colin De Grandhomme and Mandeep Singh managed to get a decent score for the team but failed to make the cause. In the beginning, Parthiv Patel succeeded to make a good start and scored 20 runs but fell to Shakib Al Hasan. He played some elegant hits before he was lbw. His attempt to make the most of the Powerplays ended with the smart decision of Kane Williamson to hand the ball to Shakib Al Hasan.

Ab De Villiers tried to encounter Rashid Khan but could not stand for a long time and fell for another googly by Rashid Khan.
Moeen Ali also could not make a good stand. Grandhomme and Manan Vohra entered the crease when the team’s score was 84/5. Kane Williamson tried his best to break the duo but in vain. Rashid Khan finished his spell by the end of 17th over.
When the RCB needed 19 runs off 12 balls, De Grandhomme slammed Rashid Khan at the end of 17th over. Siddharth Kaul and Bhuvneshwar Kumar tried to increase pressure on this pair and succeeded. At last, when the team needed 6 runs off a single ball, Grandhomme got dismissed by a Yorker making the defeat of the team inevitable. RCB once again collapsed under pressure.
