Talking about his knock, Buttler said “Nice change for me; wasn’t quite working in the middle. Didn’t capitalize on a few good opportunities. Change in position worked wonders.”

“Was hard to work out what a good score is. After the powerplay, you thought 180 is a good total but then it started to spin. You were never quite at home (on this pitch). With the field up, you have a lot of options. With the ball hard, opening position is a very good place to bat. Boys played well as a team, so we can take that confidence in the next game.”

The Rajasthan Royals team jumped up to two positions in the points table by the victory in this game by 15 runs. They got eight points by this win in total and secured 6th position in the points table. They are going to play Chennai Super Kings in their next game on 11th May. By this victory, the hopes of the team to make the way for their playoffs are alive again.

Earlier, the performance of Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler in their previous games was criticized immensely and Rahane was trolled for his poor captaincy. But by his wise decisions with the batting line-up and field placements turned the game to their side. The debutant Jofra Archer is also doing good for the team.

Rajasthan Royals are back into the competition after serving a two-year ban period.  The team needs to win all the upcoming games to make their way to playoffs.
