The Mumbai Indians registered a memorable victory at Eden Gardens against Kolkata Knight Riders by 102 runs and kept their hopes alive to reach the playoffs. The Mumbai Indians crept to fourth place in the points table by this win in the 41st game of IPL 2018.
Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and chose to field first. Ishan Kishan slammed 62 runs off 21 runs and made the joint fastest fifty along with his teammate Kieron Pollard by scoring 50 runs off 17 balls.
On their favorite ground, Mumbai Indians handed a mammoth-like score of 210 runs off 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. They won their 18th game in the face to face combats out of which the opponents won only five games. With this victory, they got 10 points in the IPL table.
