  1. Kieron Pollard

This Caribbean player is one of the terrific all-rounders and pinch hitters for Mumbai Indians. He is one of the best T20 players of his time and is facing a downtime in his career. He is just 31 years old but could not perform well up to his potential. He was retained by RTM for Rs.5.4 crore by Mumbai Indians. But he did not do good in this season. This IPL might be his last season.

  1. Yuvraj Singh

He was one of the best-limited overs player Indian Cricket ever witnessed. He was the golden boy of his time. But his average was 12 and strike rate was 91 in the current season. He was back to his home franchise for this season but did not perform competently. He might not get sold in the next season and the retirement from IPL is the only option left before this southpaw.

  1. Brendon Mc Cullum

He is currently playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore but could not make his mark. He was not retained by Chennai Super Kings for the current IPL season and his average was just 21.16 for the current season. 1. Gautam Gambhir

This IPL is the worst season for this Delhi player. He came back to his home team as the skipper being the prestigious skipper who won two IPL titles for KKR. But he did not do well as a player as well as the captain. He lost his captaincy to Shreyas Iyer and his place in the playing XI to Prithvi Shaw. He is one of the greatest batsmen for India as well as for IPL but he cannot prolong his IPL career in these consequences.

  1. Vinay Kumar

This speedster may end his IPL career with this season. He was the only player who played for one or the other team in the IPL despite inconsistency. He lost his reputation as a good domestic player due to poor performance in this IPL. He conceded a huge amount of runs against Chennai Super Kings and was thrashed by Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo. This may leave him unsold for the next season.
