The Sunrisers Hyderabad stepped into the final of IPL 2018 by 13-run win against Kolkata Knight Riders yesterday. They made it by their all-round performance and bounced back in an impressive style after four back to back defeats.
They have to face Chennai Super Kings in the final encounter. They had a poor record with CSK in this season and lost all the three head to head games. Here are the three changes the Sunrisers can make in their team to better their position.
- Sandeep Sharma instead of Khaleel Ahmed
Khaleel Ahmed entered the team to replace Sandeep Sharma but this youngster was slammed by Nitish Rana by two sixes in the single over. He lacked consistency in the line and length and was very expensive. Sandeep Sharma did well for the team before he was rested for the previous game. He will be a good option to face the players of CSK like Deepak Chahar and Ravindra Jadeja. If they want to challenge the potential players of the opponents, calling for Sandeep Sharma is a good move.
- Yusuf Pathan to be replaced by Shrivats Goswami
Shrivats Goswami did a good job as the batsman while Pathan is facing poor form. Wriddhiman Saha missed the catches of Chris Lynn and Andre Russel which were very crucial for the team. But he made a decent score against KKR. So, the team needs the youngsters like Shrivats Goswami. Saha thrashed a hundred against KXIP in IPL final 2014. Considering his experience, Goswami can be accommodated into the team to add young talent and Pathan could be rested for this game.
- Mohammed Nabi to replace Carlos Braithwaite
Mohammed Nabi can be called to replace Carlos Braithwaite in the final game. Though he picked a few wickets and made a decent score in the qualifier2, he was very expensive. Carlos Braithwaite was slammed by CSK in the 18th over in the first qualifier game. To avoid any mishaps, Mohammed Nabi can be included in the team instead of Braithwaite. Nabi’s entry into the team will be a strength to the spin attack of the team.
