Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh expressed his views about Indian team’s performance in the current Test Series against South Africa. He feels that India will bounce back in the third test and gets safe from a whitewash. This 37-year old player represented the country in above 100 test matches and 236 one day internationals.

On the other hand, India lost first test match with a difference of 72 runs and the second one with 135 runs to South Africa in the three- test series. He said, “Of course, they can bounce back. Every game is a new opportunity. Whatever has happened, you cannot change that. But you can change what in front of you.”

In the current situation, the Indian captain Kohli is being condemned for his decision of keeping Bhuvaneswar Kumar away from the second test in spite of his outstanding performance in the Cape Town test and not including a dependable player Ajinkya Rahane in the final XI for the test series.India Team Huddle

India lost two test matches to South Africa failing to chase over 300 run targets despite having a strong batting line up and is trailing back with 0-2 in the current series. The third test begins from January 24th at Johannesburg.

Harbhajan, leading the Punjab team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Tournament expressed confidence that they will do very well in the knockouts starting from Sunday. Speaking about that he said, “Our preparations are good. We are in a good rhythm. We know that competition will be better than previous encounters. We are looking forward to the knockouts.”

The Punjab team strived hard for it on the nets with celeb players, Yuvraj and Harbhajan. Yuvraj stepped immediately into the practice after landing and looked like slowed down initially but made it an eye candy with his special drives and glances as time passed on.

The locals crowded around Yuvraj and Harbhajan for clicking selfies as they were in a jovial mood.

Speaking about the wicket, Harbhajan said that the wicket has a lot of grass on it and that he told the pitch curator that it should not affect the game anyway and the toss-winning team should not benefit from the nature of the pitch.

He added, “Both sides are playing away from home so no home advantage” for the match at the Jadavpur University ground.
