Shubhman Gill slammed 58 runs off 92 balls and they together made 148 runs before the departure of Mayank Agarwal in the 33rd over. Though the captain departed for a poor score, by the opening stand of 148 runs and unbeaten performances of Shubhman Gill and Rishabh Pant, India managed to chase the winning target within 38.1 overs.
Deepak Chahar stood as the crucial bowler of the day as he managed to take quick wickets in the beginning and also at the end to restrict the opponents for220 runs in the first Innings.
Shreyas Iyer also lost his wicket at the score of one run. Then, Shubhman Gill and Rishabh Pant guided India towards victory. Rishabh Pant slammed unbeaten 18 runs.
