Here is the predicted team for the series against Ireland.BCCI Out With Grade A+ List, Mohammed Shami Left Out, Kohli Makes To Grade A+, Dhoni Still In Grade AOpeners

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan

Rohit Sharma recently cleared the yo-yo test and attained a place in the team for series against England and Ireland. Though he has an impressive record in the test matches, he is suffering poor form since the Nidahas tournament. As Ireland has no strong bowling department, he can expect a big score and come out of the gloomy mood due to disastrous IPL experiences this year.

Shikhar Dhawan is in best of his form despite injuries. He is one of the impressive players in IPL 2018 for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He performed well and may partner Rohit Sharma though KL Rahul is expected to open the game instead of him. Though KL Rahul has a good IPL record this year, the selectors may not experiment with the opening partnership.

Middle Order

Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, and Dinesh Karthik

The above trio has a good record in the IPL and the skipper Kohli is all set with his might to play against England after recovering from injuries. He is one of the World class batsmen in limited overs cricket and is expected to do his best, especially in chasing the huge scores.

Suresh Raina attained the last chance to cement his position in the limited overs team. He did a decent performance for CSK in the IPL and is trying hard to attain a place in the World cup 2019 squad. He played his last international T20I tournament in 2017 and may struggle to encounter the Irish bowling attack in the upcoming series.

Dinesh Karthik did well in the Nidahas tournament and played well for KKR in the IPL. He is a good wicket-keeper and a match-finisher and expects to do his best as a middle-order batsman.

All-rounder and Wicket Keeper

Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni

Hardik Pandya did well for Mumbai Indians in the IPL and he is one of the outstanding all-rounders in the limited overs format. Though he did well with the ball, he could not make impressive cameos in the recent past. But keeping World cup 2019 in mind, he will be the best option when the team needs an all-rounder.

MS Dhoni did great for CSK as the skipper, batsman, and wicket-keeper this year. He made some impressive performances against South Africa earlier this year. Though he suffered injury woes, he will don the gloves as a wicket-keeper till the World cup 2019.

Spinners

Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzwendra Chahal

These spin-twins are irreplaceable in the present situation. They are doing great since the beginning of this year in the limited overs format and can do well in spite of unfavorable conditions for spinners in England and Ireland.

Pace bowlers

Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar

This pair is one of the experienced set for team India. They had a poor IPL season but are some of the successful pacers in the World. Since Ireland and England are known for pacer-friendly conditions, they are expected to make the most of this series. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the successful bowlers for India since a couple of years and Bumrah is one of the crucial death-over bowlers for the team. Hence, they want to strengthen their position in the team for the upcoming World cup.
