However, Spokesperson from England confirmed that Tom Curran is expected to regain his fitness for the second T20I against India. Tom Curran recently played in IPL 2018 for Kolkata Knight Riders and is expected to be an asset for England to tackle Indian batsmen who are less consistent to encounter pacers. Tom Curran was earlier taken by Kolkata Knight Riders to replace Mitchell Santner.
The second T20I takes place at Cardiff, England and Curran may play for the team if he gets fit by that time.
