Though men in blue lost the test series to South Africa by 2-1, the win in Johannesburg test raised their confidence levels. The way team India played in the third test shows the improvement in performance and confidence of the team to encounter the safaris in the upcoming one-dayer series.


The pace bowler line-up of team India is better in the current season than the previous matches. The Kohli’s team proved that they are in better form than the previous Indian team by the Wanderers test victory.

The Indian team succeeded to beat South Africa by 63 runs by the terrific seamer attack against the host’s team.

The first one-dayer against South Africa will be played on February 1st, 2018 at Kingsmead stadium, Durban at 4.30PM according to Indian Standard time.

India has to play six one-dayers and three T20 matches against South Africa. Though the Safaris succeeded in writing their name on the test series, Team India is no less to give head to head competition to the host team. They cleared it by their performance in the third test.

The Kohli and team are proud of Johannesburg victory and are sweating out to give a good start in the one-dayer series with confidence and vigor.

Though BCCI announced the squad for one-day series, the captain has to choose the final eleven to play the one day series against South Africa.
