Indians proved their dominance once again above their archrivals yesterday. India won against Pakistan by 9 wickets yesterday. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan once again proved that they are the best openers and slammed centuries to hit the target of 238 runs. The foundation for this victory was laid by the pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

They registered their best ever victory in the norms of wickets. However, India never left a stone unturned to confuse the opponents and registered this most memorable victory in the Asia Cup within a week. Coming to the toss, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first. The poor shot selection of Pakistan batsmen made it easy for the Indians.

Fakhar Zaman, who was responsible for the victory of Pakistan in the Champions Trophy Finale 2017 against India was restricted by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah in this match. He took four overs to score just a six. Later in the eighth over, Yuzwendra  Chahal picked the wicket of Iman-Ul-Haq and this was Chahal’s first wicket in Power Plays in the ODI format.

Fakhar Zaman tried to slam the spin twins and Kuldeep Yadav picked his wicket by an LBW after thrashed by Zaman with a four and a six. The skipper Sarfraz slammed 44 runs and Shoaib Malik scored 78 runs to build a stand of 107 runs for the fourth wicket.  They tried to recover from the position of 58/3 in the 16th over to 169/4 in the 40th over. The wicket of Malik was picked by Jasprit Bumrah.

Kuldeep Yadav succeeded to dismiss Sarfraz Ahmed by 39th over. Bumrah managed to pick the wicket of Shadab Khan. Pakistan managed to score only 68 runs from last 10 overs. Malik slammed Bhuvneshwar Kumar with 22 runs in his last over but was dismissed in 44th over. Jadeja was wicketless in this game but his economy rate was remarkable with 5.55 from nine overs.

Chahal finished with 2/46 from nine overs and Kuldeep Yadav picked 2 wickets by conceding 41 runs. Bumrah made an outstanding performance with 2/29 from 10 overs and Bhuvneshwar Kumar was wicketless from 9 overs. They managed to restrict Pakistan at 237/7 from 50 overs.

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan made the play one-sided with fiery shots. Rohit Sharma slammed 111* and Shikhar Dhawan scored 114 runs. They made the most out of the flat wicket and the mistakes of Pakistani fielders were also a cause for their huge scores.

Really yesterday was a festival for team India with the all-round performance of the players.
