Afghanistan registered jaw-dropping victories in the Asia Cup against stronger teams this year. They won with a difference of 91 runs against Bangladesh and 136 runs against Sri Lanka. They could not keep on their highs in the super four stage against Bangladesh and Pakistan. They lost pathetically to Pakistan and against Bangladesh, they were almost at the doors of the victory.
