West Indies topped the group A in ICC T20I world cup for women by beating England and South Africa won a nominal game against Bangladesh. Both the games took place at St.Lucia.
England gave a poor start as the West Indies captain Stafainie Taylor won the toss and chose to field first. They lost the early wicket of Wyatt who made just a single run. Beamount scored 23 off 28 balls and by the end of 6 overs, England scored just 32/2. The West Indies bowlers picked quick wickets and at a moment England were at 50/6.
In 20 overs, England were 115/8 by the contributions of Dunkley Brown and Shrubsole. They added 58 runs for 7th wicket. Brown slammed 35 runs and Shrubsole scored 28 runs.
To chase 116 runs, West Indies lost earlier wickets with 3/2 and then by the end of 6 overs they were 27/2. To rebuild the innings, the West Indies players Dottine and Campbelle added 68 runs for the third wicket. Though the English bowlers kept on picking wickets, the West Indies won the game by 4 wickets.

South Africa Vs Bangladesh
South Africans ended the tournament with a consoling win over Bangladesh. The Bangladeshis chose to field after winning the toss. Lee and Niekerk added 25 runs to the first wicket partnership within 3.2 overs. The Bangladeshi bowlers kept on picking wickets and by the end of 20 overs the South Africans were 109/9.
In chase of 110 runs, Bangladeshis were 13/1 off 6 overs. Rumana Ahmed is the only highest scorer for Bangladesh with 34 runs. At last, South Africa won the game by 30 runs.
