South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first in the current ODI at Durban.

India played limited over series for a long time before they came to play the test series against South Africa. They are scheduled for six one-dayer series and three t20 series against South Africa,  A T20I tri-series against SriLanka,  and three T20I series in Ireland and England and the upcoming IPL 2018  games are in the schedule.
