Every year, each team looks for young talents and sometimes the cheapest buys prove to be the worthiest. IPL gave a perfect platform for players like Yuzwendra Chahal, Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah to prove themselves for the Indian side. Here are a few youngsters to look on for in this IPL season.

In the Vijay Hazare Tournament this year, he picked 22 wickets and plays for Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Tournament. This year, the franchise picked a solid set of spinners like Mujeeb Zadran, Ravichandran Ashwin, Murugan Ashwin, and now Varun is another weapon in the arsenal of the franchise.

He is known for perfect line and length at the pace of 150kmph and is a part of the West Indies team in the Indian tour. He made his debut in the game at Guwahati against India.  He won the applause of the West Indies legendary cricketer Chris Gayle.

This left-arm fast bowler did not have much experience in the international cricket or T20 format but can do wonders with his consistent deliveries. He picked 162 wickets from 47 first-class matches at an economy rate of 6.47. He picked 19 wickets from 6 T20s he played. He was picked by the Kolkata Knight Riders for IPL 2019 for a base price of Rs.20 lakhs.

Shivam Dubey

Shivam DubeHe is one of the costliest picks by the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise. He slammed 5 sixes off 5 balls for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy and bagged a big deal from the franchise for a sum of Rs. 5 crores. In this Ranji season, he picked 21 wickets and 454 runs. He can be a tough competition for Hardik Pandya if he can do well in IPL.

Shubhmann Gill

Shubman GillHe was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous season and grabbed attention by a double century for Punjab in the Ranji Trophy and later century in two consecutive occasions. He is one of the crucial players for the U19 team which won the World cup this year for India. He was a lower order batsman for KKR in the previous season and might turn to be a crucial player in this season.
