5 Indian U19 Players Who Can Debut In International Cricket In 2018

The U19 team thrashed Australia by 100 runs at the beginning and this boom continued till the team cruised to win the ICC U19 world cup. This victory is a bouquet of positive signs that these boys can make wonders playing for the country.  The list of 5 of the players who are expected to enter the international team this year is as follows.

This Rajasthani pacer can bowl at a constant speed up to 140kph. This 18 –year- old player picket 9 wickets in the tournament with an economy rate up to 3.49. He made his debut for Rajasthan team in 2017 and picked up a hat-trick. This terrific fast bowler was bought by the KKR franchise for a deal of Rs.3.2 crores. This player will be the first man BCCI would call up for if they look for a terrific pacer.

This U19 captain did a great job with his bat throughout the tournament with 94, 57 not out, 40,41 and 29 runs. He played for Mumbai in the Ranji trophy. He scored 261 runs in the world cup season. He was sold out for Rs.1.2 crores by Delhi DareDevils to play for current IPL season. He will be the selectors’ first choice if the team needs a good opening batsman.

Hailing from Delhi, Manjot did a fantastic ton to lead the team to the tournament victory in the U19 world cup finale. He scored 251 runs in this tournament with an average of 84. This local boy was bought by Delhi DareDevils to represent the franchise in the current IPL season. He repeated the feat of scoring a century in the world cup final by Unmukt Chand.

This Jharkhand player did wonders with left-arm spin. He shares the record of taking highest wickets along with Qais Ahmad(Afganistan) and Faisal Jamakhandi(Canada). He took 14 wickets from 6 matches in the tournament. He was selected to play with Mumbai Indians for a remuneration of 20 lakhs. Along with bowling, he did a good score of33 runs off 45 balls playing from the lower order.

This Punjabi player will be the choice of selectors if the team needs a dynamic batsman. He is the highest scorer for the Indian side. He scored 63, 90*, 86,102*, and 31 runs in the tournament with a total of 372 runs at a strike rate of 124. Some experts see the coincidence of this player with Kohli. He was selected to play for Kolkata Knight Riders team for IPL 2018. There are expectations that this player will be called to play for national team soon. He made his debut in the Ranji Trophy for Punjab team.
