He grew as one of the crucial players for the team and contributed his best to the team on many occasions besides cementing his position in the national team for all the formats. - Ishan Kishan
He is one of the consistent performers for the team since the previous season. He slammed 273 runs in the Ranji Trophy and made his debut in IPL 2016 for Gujarat Lions for a base price of Rs.35 lakhs. He played two seasons for Rajkot based franchise under Suresh Raina and got a chance to play for Mumbai Indians in 2018 IPL at a price of Rs.6.2 crore. Though he could not do well in IPL 2018, he amassed 275 runs along with two fifties with the strike rate of 149.5 with the highest score of 62 runs. He is expected to do well in this season and emerge as a player with X-factor.
- Mayank Markande
Mayank Markande is one of the bowlers with the highest number of wickets for Mumbai Indians. He is a Punjabi bowler with a miserly economy rate and capability to pick quick wickets. He picked 3/23 in his IPL debut game along with the wicket of MS Dhoni in 2018. He picked 29 wickets for Punjab in Ranji trophy in 2018. He picked 15 wickets from 14 games in IPL 2018. He is one of the youngest leg spinners in IPL 2019 and made his debut for the Indian team in Visakhapatnam against Australia.
- Rahul Chahar
Rahul Chahar is often one of the underrated players from India. This 19-year old Rajasthani spinner played for Pune Supergiants in IPL 2017 under Steven Smith. He picked three wickets from two games in that season. He was bagged by Mumbai Indians for IPL 2018 but was out of the series throughout the season. He has 41 wickets in his pocket from Ranji Trophy this year and stood as one of the highest wicket-takers in Vijay Hazare tournament this year. He will be one of the matchwinners for the team if he does consistently for Mumbai Indians.
