He was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore for this IPL season. This 16-year old bowler picked 11 wickets from 9 List A matches and 4 wickets from 4 T20s. This Bengali bowler was picked by the franchise to strengthen the bowling attack for a whopping sum of Rs.1.5 crore. He has an impressive economy rate around 7 runs per over. His leg break bowling astonished the likes of Virat Kohli. He will be a powerful weapon in the arsenal of Royal Challengers Bangalore along with bowlers like Pawan Negi, Yuzwendra Chahal, Tim Southee, and Washington Sundar.
He was bagged by the franchise for Rs.4.8 crores after his performance for the team of Indian Emerging Cricketers of Asia. He slammed 92 runs from six innings at a steady average of 15. Though his performance was not yet stable, his strike rate of 192 allured the franchise to bag him for a fat cheque. He will be a formidable batsman for the team in the line of Chris Gayle, KL Rahul, and Nicholas Pooran if he is provided an opportunity.
4. Sandeep Lamicchane( Delhi Capitals)
This 18-year old Nepali bowler was picked by Delhi Daredevils for the previous season and is a part of the team for the current season. He played three IPL seasons and picked just 5 wickets at an economy rate of 7 runs per over by conceding 82 runs. He is the solitary overseas spinner in the team and others including Amit Mishra, Rahul Tewatia, and Akshar Patel.
5. Mujeeb Ur Rahman(Kings XI Punjab)
Mujeeb Ur Rahman is one of the crucial players for KXIP in the last season and did his best to hand the team a handful of victories with his variant spin. He picked 14 wickets from 11 matches at an economy rate of 7 runs per over. He played for Comilla Victorians in Bangladesh premier league and Brisbane Heat in Big Bash League. He was picked by the franchise for Rs.4 crores for his services in the previous season.
