Ahead of 3rd ODI South Africa Batsmen Train with 5 Spinners

The South African team is planning to call for as many as wrist-spinners to answer the Indian spinners, Yuzwendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. The Proteas sweated on the nets to encounter the third ODI.south-africaChahal and Yadav collapsed the South African innings in the two ODIs by picking 13 wickets and played a key role in cruising the Indian team towards the win.

The South African pacer Rabada said that their home team’s performance is not acceptable in the previous two one-dayers. Indians took lead in the series by 2-0.

Speaking about this, he said “It’s not acceptable at all. India is a strong team. They’ve just beaten Australia (at home) comprehensively. I know they’ve been playing all their games at home, but they’ve been playing good cricket.”

“It doesn’t help that we have been going through a few changes and not been in the best form since the Champions Trophy in one-day cricket. We are still trying to catch up at the moment,” he added.

The hosts are down due to injuries as well. Ab De Villiers, Faf Du Plessis, and Quinton De Kock are out of the rest of the one-dayers against India due to injuries. The seamer said that no one can replace the trio in their team and that their home team did not lose all the chances to win the series.

He felt that the absence of this trio in this series gives a chance for other players to do well and that it is a blessing in disguise.

Rabada said that the team will recover from woes of injuries and do well in the rest of the series and the victory in this series will be a warm-up for the upcoming World Cup.
