IPL 2019 Match 17 Preview: Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs Kolkata Knight Riders

Royal Challengers Bangalore is the only team that did not taste a single success in the tournament this year despite contributions of top order and bowlers. They drastically lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad and a humiliating loss in the tournament opener against Chennai Super Kings. But they seem to give the tough fight against Mumbai Indians and in the most recent game against Rajasthan Royals.

Kolkata seems formidable with two wins out of three games they played. Four days ago, they lost a game against Delhi Capitals by a super over. In all the aspects, the team seems formidable when compared to their opponents. Though there are contributions from other members, Andre Russell is the match winner for them in all the three occasions expect in the game against Delhi Capitals.

The absence of Sunil Narine in the game against Delhi Capitals had a huge negative impact on Kolkata Knight Riders. He is out of the game due to a shoulder injury and expects to join the squad for today’s game.

RCB has many issues to address including over dependency on top order. Parthiv Patel and Yuzwendra Chahal are the only consistent performers for the team on all occasions.
