With the Indian Premier League just a month away, the excitement among the fans and players can be seen getting higher. The latest statement came from the Australian white-ball captain Aaron Finch who is all ready to be part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore and play alongside skipper Virat Kohli.

Talking to ANI, Finch told, “I can’t wait to join up with RCB. To get the opportunity to play for a franchise that has some of the greatest players in the world is going to be fun. It would have been amazing to play in front of the home crowd at Chinnaswamy but representing the franchise in UAE will still mean a huge amount to me.”

Aaron Finch is also excited about playing under the captaincy of skipper Virat Kohli for the first time. He said it would be the first time that he will be in a team led by the 30-year-old Kohli.

He elaborated, “It will be my first time playing under Virat’s leadership but something I’m very excited about. Having played against him for a number of years now in international cricket and IPL I know how driven and competitive he is, that something I’m looking forward to seeing up close.”

It is to be noted that despite being star-studded, RCB somehow fails to see through the end of any IPL season to win the trophy. Though the team has reached the finals on three occasions, yet they have not been able to come through unscathed. Finch with his experience wants to change the outcome this season.

“I hope that my experience will come in handy, being able to help out anyone I can during the IPL. If that means I can help take some pressure off Virat then I will do everything I have to,” Aaron Finch signed off.

Starting from September 19th, IPL 2020 will be hosted entirely in the UAE and the last game of the tournament will be played on November 10th.
