- Krishnappa Gautham(Rs.6.2 crores, Rajasthan Royals)
This Karnataka player got a big amount of Rs.6.2 cr to play on the side of Rajasthan Royals. This right-handed batsman is also known for right arm break bowling. He is popular as a T20 specialist in the domestic cricket. He took 18 wickets in three games in Ranji trophy, 2016. He was picked by the Mumbai Indians in 2017 IPL edition for Rs.1.5 cr.
He was bought by the Rajasthan Royals franchise for Rs.6.2 cr for the current season. He had an excellent strike rate of 159.79 in 22 Innings. He picked 20 wickets from 27 matches with an economy rate of 7.20. He is one of the anticipated performers for the franchise.
- D’ Arcy Short (Rs.4 crores, Rajasthan Royals)
This Australian player had the highest strike rate in the limited over formats. Experts believe he is made for the T20s. He became popular by his debut in the Big Bash League in 2016 by hitting eight fours and three sixes against Sydney Sixers. This Afgan player is the limited overs specialist. He is the youngest player to play international matches from Afganistan, born in the 21st century. This spinner can bowl with variations using any kind of ball. He took 4 wickets off 24 runs in his debut match. He took 7 wickets from nine T20Is with an economy of 6.45. In his ODI career, he took 19 wickets from eight matches with an economy of 4.3. He is expected to give a splendid performance for the Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2018.
