  1. Krishnappa Gautham(Rs.6.2 crores, Rajasthan Royals)

This Karnataka player got a big amount of Rs.6.2 cr to play on the side of Rajasthan Royals. This right-handed batsman is also known for right arm break bowling. He is popular as a T20 specialist in the domestic cricket. He took 18 wickets in three games in Ranji trophy, 2016. He was picked by the Mumbai Indians in 2017 IPL edition for Rs.1.5 cr.

He was bought by the Rajasthan Royals franchise for Rs.6.2 cr for the current season. He had an excellent strike rate of 159.79 in 22 Innings. He picked 20 wickets from 27 matches with an economy rate of 7.20. He is one of the anticipated performers for the franchise.

  1. D’ Arcy Short (Rs.4 crores, Rajasthan Royals)

This Australian player had the highest strike rate in the limited over formats. Experts believe he is made for the T20s. He became popular by his debut in the Big Bash League in 2016 by hitting eight fours and three sixes against Sydney Sixers. This left-handed batsman startled the audience by scoring 61 runs off just 29 balls in that match. He is an all-rounder with left-handed batting style and left-arm break bowling. He concluded the recent BBL with a good strike rate. He made his international T20 debut against New Zealand in February 2018.

In the fifth T20I of this series, he scored a quick 76 runs that helped the team to reach the score of 244 runs and win the match. He was the man of the match of that game. He will play for Rajasthan Royals for current IPL edition and has an impressive strike rate of 150.70 in his t20i career at an average of 42.

  1. Jofra Archer(Rs.7.2 crores, Rajasthan Royals)

This Caribbean player is one of the awaited young all-rounders for the current IPL season. This right-arm pacer can consistently bowl at the speed above 140kph. He is a good hitter and dragged the admiration of the selectors by his great performance for Hobart Hurricanes against Melbourne Renegades. He had a great strike rate of 143.38 from 41 matches in his T20 career.

  1. Navdeep Saini ( Rs.3 crores, Royal Challengers Bangalore)

He is the first-class cricketer playing for Delhi.  This right arm pacer took 29 wickets off seven Ranji matches with a speed above 140kph throughout the season. He took 13 wickets from 14 matches in the T20I career with an economy rate of 6.02. He was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise for Rs.3 crores. He is expected to be the main weapon in the pace-bowling department.

  1. Mujeeb Zadran(Rs.4 crores, Kings XI Punjab)

This Afgan player is the limited overs specialist. He is the youngest player to play international matches from Afganistan, born in the 21st century. This spinner can bowl with variations using any kind of ball. He took 4 wickets off 24 runs in his debut match. He took 7 wickets from nine T20Is with an economy of 6.45. In his ODI career, he took 19 wickets from eight matches with an economy of 4.3. He is expected to give a splendid performance for the Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2018.
