Indian Ready For Tri-Nation Nidahas Trophy, First game on Tomorrow

The Indian cricket team left the country to play Nidahas tri-national tournament. This series is seven T20I match tournament scheduled to be played between India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Team India is full of new faces as the crucial players including Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were rested for this tournament.Indian Ready For Tri-Nation Nidahas Trophy, First game on TomorrowIndia will encounter Sri Lanka in the inaugural match on March 6th at Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. The final match will be played on March 18th. The seniors were rested after a long tour of South Africa. Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli, Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah played all the matches in the South African series.

This tri-national series will be conducted to celebrate the 70th Independence day celebrations of Sri Lanka. Both of the teams were scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka by 4th March. The Bangladesh team will play a practice match against Sri Lanka and India will head towards the tournament without any warm-up matches. This T20I tournament is scheduled to be played after 20 long years. Earlier, this tournament was conducted in 1998 between India, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand.  The tournament was held to celebrate 50th Independence day celebrations of Sri Lanka.

The new players Deepak Hooda, Washington Sundar, Vijay Shankar and Rishabh Pant were included in 16-member team of the men in blue. There are predictions about the entry of Axar Patel into the final squad that has to play the opening match this Tuesday.

Though Rohit Sharma was trolled on the grounds of his poor performance, he has a good record as the captain of the T20I team with two victories out of three matches the team under his captaincy.  He is heading the team for this T20I tournament and eyed on his bounce back.
