- Vijay Shankar (Delhi DareDevils)
Vijay Shankar played a handful of matches in the first class cricket and was currently playing for India in the Nidahas tournament against SriLanka and Bangladesh. he made an impressive job in the games till date. He was picked by the Delhi DareDevils for the current season. He played 5 IPL games in the previous edition for Gujarat Lions. He is a 27-year-old all-rounder with elegant batting skills besides being a medium pacer. He made an unbeaten 63 for Gujarat Lions and made 101 runs at an average of 50.50 in the IPL 2017.
His worst performance as a bowler has he conceded 19 runs in a single over. He has the ability to win the match on his own.
- Ambati Rayudu(Chennai SuperKings)
Rayudu started his cricketing career at an early age and was often in the news due to some negative situations. He was banned by the BCCI for playing in the IPL earlier. He was picked by Chennai SuperKings for the current edition. This 32-year old batsman was a match-winner at the need of the hour. He played for Mumbai Indians and scored 2416 runs at an average of 27.14. He was a solid batsman in the middle order.
- Aaron Finch (Kings XI Punjab)
He started his IPL career with his debut in Delhi DareDevils. He scored 1605 runs in IPL at an average of 27.65. His tactics to tackle the bowlers made him the most desirable batsman in the middle-order. He is expected to open the game for Kings XI Punjab. He is going to miss out the opening match of the team on account of his wedding.
- Chris Woakes(Royal Challengers Bangalore)
He is one of the under-rated players of the IPL. This 29-year old bowler picked 17 wickets off 13 games for Kolkata Knight Riders. He is an excellent player in the limited-overs format. His good form lured the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the team is going to make use of his all-round skills.
- Jos Buttler(Rajasthan Royals)
Jos Buttler is a crucial player for England. He is a skilled wicket-keeper. He scored 527 runs in the IPL at an average of 25.09. He has an incredible strike rate of above 145. He may be considered for tail-ending position besides wicket-keeping. He was accompanied by his teammate Ben Stokes in the Rajasthan Royals team for the current edition.
