IPL 2018-Players Who Can Replace Steve Smith as Rajasthan Royals Captain

As the ball-tampering scandal unravels, Steve Smith’s participation in the IPL seems difficult. In the official statement, Rajasthan Royals said, “We have been made aware of the controversy of ball tampering in ongoing Australia – South Africa series and await further instructions from BCCI before we make any announcement.”

“We at Rajasthan Royals will not tolerate any actions that are unfair by definition and bring disrepute to the game of cricket. Our Zero tolerance policy applies to everyone in our team.”

After his confession, ICC has put a One-Test ban on Smith while at the same time his Participation in IPL is under threat. Amid his confession, some of the cricket fraternity is asking to sack him as the Australian captain and Rajasthan Royals is also looking to sack him from his captaincy role.
